Mike Pain, Has arrived, screaming C.r.i.m.e land at the top of his lungs but its not a label, its where he’s from. Mike Pain is a RADIO READY beast, a versatile artist that defies the average boundaries of hip-hop, keeping it real, no gimmicks and able to rap using creative metaphors on any beat, he’s destroying his competition. If that’s not enough, weigh in THE GRIND he puts in, by doing hip hop car commercials to get his face and name out in the streets, he has four (4) video’s professionally done and a packaged album and mix tape. Mike Pain has opened up for many major artist such as the Shop boyz, Young Jeezy, Wu-tang clan and many others, he also performed at Ben hill day in ATL twice, He was featured on a DVD with the Out Laws camp, featured in a local news paper article, performed at the Norva, the Jewish Mother, B.E.T Blaze the stage, VA Amphitheater just to name a few, and he still finds time to talk with at risk kids in two summer programs.
Born in the Midwestern state of Wisconsin, Mike Pain was raised in an all to familiar situation, the product of a dysfunctional household, this environment included drugs, gambling, drinking, fist fighting, and lack of food. Moving around between the states of Wisconsin, Indiana and Georgia, one broken home to the next, Pain turned to the streets as a stick- up kid.
In Georgia he started his first group called the pistol clan, the group didn’t last long, because several members including Pain were in and out of jail. He started to slip into a sociological withdrawal.
Looking for a fresh start, Pain moved to Virginia and started recording songs and albums that have had much independent success. MIKE PAIN, aka Mr. Broken Home, wants to be looked at as The Advocate of Americas Broken Homes. He has a style all his own, his uniqueness, flashy style, and world of C.R.I.M.E are what made Pain the man he is today I could go on and on about this Hot new Artist, but we can let the music speak for itself.
