As of June 12, my beautiful daughter Maisie Luke McMaster. Her name is pronounced Macy- NOT Mazeeee. There's no Z. She's absolutely perfect, I never quite understood the whole 'miracle of birth' thing, but after meeting this being that I actually grew inside of me... WOW! Art, as in fabulous paintings, beautiful jewelry, amazing sculptures, breathtaking photography. Anything created from the heart... oh wait I take that back. I grew up in a town with a lot of crappy art! I like playing Yahtzee and pretending that I know how to play Dominoes. I like to do at least 10 sit-ups and tell people i've been 'working out'. I got a bicycle for my birthday so I like to ride it, mostly cause it looks really cool. I guess the exercise part of that is also good. Work, I like my job and the people I work with. Of course my amazing family and friends...

.."blue"Let's get real. I do not want to meet people on myspace. I am not on myspace to make new friends and form new relationships. This goes to anyone who sees that I work in the film industry and thinks that asking me to be their friend will somehow launch their careers. My myspace is for me and my personal life (for the most part). Please do not put in a friend request if you do not know me at all. I have no "ins", i can't get you a job, i'm not a fan of theatre or of crappy homemade movies.
However, if you also work in the industry and we KNOW eachother or have worked together I would love to 'meet' you on myspace. Let's have a virtual coffe and talk about how that one producer was a real asshole!I'd like to meet all the people on myspace who have reponses in the BOOKS: section that say things like... "what are those?" and "do people really read anymore?". Then i'd like to meet their parents. and kick them. books are cool, people who act like reading is uncool are STUPID, and ignorance is not a virtue that anyone should ever aspire to have.
People with contagious laughter, endless hugs, funny jokes, good cooking skills, exciting travel stories and of course ridiculously wealthy people who want to spend their riches on me. Soldiers with the bravery to fight overseas and don't support the president.

I'm pretty much a dork, anyone who knows me will know that I love Empire Records. Untamed Hearts, North Country, Harry Potter, Sex and Lucia, Radio Flyer, The Man in The Moon (the oldschool movie with Reese Witherspoon), Sophie's Choice, Office Space, Garden State, Love Actually, Chris Rock- Bigger and Blacker...

CSI, Scrubs, Law and Order reruns, Project Runway, Hell's Kitchen (cause i've worked in my share of crazy food establishments and rather enjoy the masochistic part of things) Anything on the food network, Top Chef, America's Next Top Model, Iron Chef is easily one of my favorites, It's Always Sunny In Phillidelphia (f-ing hysterical) Wildfire (cause it's my job and I can claim some responsability to it), Simpsons, I like things that make me laugh and I like things that let me be a zombie... ok I guess all tv turns me into a zombie.
Alright now that I have been reading more... Idiot Girls Action Adventure Club is freakin hysterical as well as the others that she's (laurie notaro) written, like We Thought You Would Be Prettier and I am now reading I Love Everbody, And Other Atrocious Lies.. I like every book that David Sedaris has ever written. Also Shel Silverstein, because he is amazing, (has anyone read Runny Babbit?) Einstein's Dreams makes me happy. I absolutely love Catcher In the Rye, He, She and We are interesting. Scary stories to tell in the dark, that book is fun. I tried reading Positively Fifth Street, it was pretty good I guess at least up till chapter 7. Divine Secrets of the Yaya Sisterhood, Roald Dahl Collected Stories. I love photography books by Duane Michaels, and art books of all kinds! Another good one is A Supposedly Fun Thing I Will Never Do Again, I guess I like true stories by funny people... that seems to take up a lot of my list.I spend most of my time reading scripts though, so I can say I certainly have enjoyed reading No Country For Old Men, the script and not the book. Seriously who wouldn't love reading a script written by the Coen Brothers?!
My mother, she has overcome obstacles that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. She is truly amazing, she is a star. My sister, because she is funny and brilliant and creative and she loves me like no one ever could imagine. She is an old soul here to teach us all a few good lessons... and she's only ten! My grandmother, my late grandfather, Thaison.... Gosh so many people I consider to be my heroes, I guess these few top the list.
