J-Walk

In case you didn't know...Yeah, I have left Gwinnett County. It wasn't something I wanted to do, but some certain circumstances have led me to move to Lake Hartwell with my parents. They moved up here about a year ago, and I've been off and on up here for that time. As of April 1, I'm now full time I guess. I still go to school at North Georgia College in Dahlonega, but my commute just got insanely long and boring. I do go back to Buford as much as possible, but I'm trying to make a life up here too. I hope to find a job here, so that maybe I can meet some quality people. Lavonia has much to offer...or not! They took me out of the city, but you can't take the city out of me. I just can't get used to doing nothing. What disappoints me the most about this place is that there doesn't appear to be anyone who plays basketball. There's a couple of gyms within a reasonable drive, but nobody here plays! I'm just not the typical guy you find in this area. By that, I mean that I don't watch NASCAR, go hunting, wear camoflauge, or have a fish hook in my hat. I do go fishing, and love to get out on the water with the boat or jetski, and that's how I will occupy most of my time up here, I guess. The best way to describe this transition..Culture Shock!
