About Me

I love life, my dumb yellow dog, my big truck, my mountain bike, my overstuffed leather chair, and my ADD fiance. I'm passionate about pizza, live music, flirting, honesty, and meeting intelligent new people. Recovering workaholic working with my partner in crime to discover the finer things in life that actually lead to bliss.

Stranger in a strange land. Born and raised in Nevada (West is best!), I've lived in five states so far, courtesy of the Air Force. I can't really claim that Alabama is all that strange any longer since I got out of the military and have been here for almost 8 years now. Most of the friends I made through the base have moved on, so I'm all for meeting new people locally to hang out with or to chat with. I travel a lot to see friends, so any interesting place can make the list for this year.
About me: I'm quiet, thoughtful, and funny in a dry sort of way. Not the center of the party, I'm the guy that sits in the group listening to everyone, and throws out wise-ass comments from time to time. Small groups of friends and good conversation are where I'm most comfortable, but I can be persuaded to do almost anything with the right coaxing. I'd say dependable, loyal, and stubborn are the best descriptions I'd use about me away from work. I only need one word to describe me at work, driven. I love what I do, and I absolutely believe that I'm making a difference, otherwise I wouldn't still be in Alabama.Page Layout.. Now Icon

My Interests

Hockey and Football, live or on TV.
Gin Martinis, dirty, like my women.
Creme Brulee from any restaurant that thinks they have a good chef.
Photography, gardening, and any other random hobby I pick up
Pool and my pursuit of not sucking.
Traveling, anywhere, anytime.
Small restaurants nobody knows about.
Constant learning and growth.

My new passion.

Cardinal rule.

I'd like to meet:

Someone that amazes me every day.

Hide Friends

Music:

All of it, anything that makes my head nod.

Movies:

Television:

Nip/Tuck fanatic!
Grey's Anatomy
Mind of Mencia
Summerland
The Unit
The Apprentice
Big Brother
Hell's Kitchen

Books:

Freekonomics was the last good book I read. I like anything that uses fact to dispell common misconceptions and debunks ignorance.

Angels and Demons was the last good fiction book I made it through. I didn't like The Da Vinci Code nearly as well.

Editorial comment. Why do all the litaratzi love Bukowski? I think he sucks! If you like him, enlighten me.

Heroes:

Brett Favre - You can not be a fan of sports, and not love this guy to death. He embodies everything that makes kids want to play.

What is a Perfect Night?

Screw Waldo!

Hmm, so, I have not read a "Where's Waldo" book since I was much younger. I guess you didn't so much read them as look at them? From comments recently, I assume we're playing "Where's Cody" recently. ...
