I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am married to an amazing woman named Shelley and we have a hillarious daughter named Keziah, and a son named Zebedee who likes to say "Bo-butt" which I think means robot. We are in the middle of adopting a child from Haiti. His name is Woodelson. He's 2 years old and likes to eat massive quantities of beans and rice. I am in Vancouver, B.C. at Regent College pursuing a Masters in Theology and the Arts. Many people raise an eyebrow when I say this, but it makes sense to me. God is good, true, and beautiful... and the more you separate these things the less you can really get to know Him. I am a visual artist, and received my training from Seattle Pacific University, graduating in the year 2000. I also enjoy playing all kinds of instruments and writing music. My visual art (painting & photography) can be seen in the slideshow below and at throwing-clay.com or at cafe press/pressedclay . I like a good frolick in the deep waters of theology, philosophy, culture, and the arts, and hope someday to write books about these topics. A greater dream would be to make a blockbuster film that incorporates these elements. You can see one of my short films, "lights out" on Google Video. Check my blog for ongoing thoughtscapades. Don't be afraid to dialogue! Keep it real.

The Golden Falls at the Greasy spoon

Every once in a while the ghosts of your past will sneek up on you, lift a sheet and flash you, but not usually all of them at the same time.  Tonight that happened to me.  It was like getti...

Thoughts after midterms

Might I start by saying that I really love that myspace lumps "religion" and "philosophy" into the same category for blogophiles?  That's sure to upset philosophers and pharisees alike.  But...
