Switch

Born in the 80's, Hansy D. a.k.a. 'SWITCH' grew up to artists such as Michael & Janet Jackson, Madonna, The Police, Phil Collins, 80's mainstream, new wave, break beats, electronic music, and his dad's collection of 70's. He began Djing around 1995 which then lead him into producing in 1998. "I wanna give the crowd hot sh.. they haven't heard and switch it up on'em with some style". He thinks it is time to give back some of that memorable flava to the new era of listeners and keep good music alive. He is now a hip hop/r & b/house producer/songwriter and vocalist residing in Northern VA. Switch says "As a DJ/Producer it's important to know what the crowd likes, even if you break in a track that no one's heard before, you gotta know how and when to break it in... I try to use alot of visualization and original concepts to create my stuff so people can relate to each track with the right feel whether they're headbangaz or some type of story behind them." Switch is here to make a change. "It almost sounds like no one's really hungry anymore and I can hear it in their music... You can tell a hands-on producer vs. a generic one. There are alot of real talented artists out there but there are also some bad ones flooding the market and it sucks that both are under the same roof. To some people Hip Hop is a way of Life... to others it's a game. What happened to that good feel music yall? Has people's perspective of good music changed over time? Songs have become lazier, simpler, and easily manipulated by software/plugins and very repetitive... I'm here to paint a memorable picture in your head with my music that you can feel for real!"
