My name is Deborah (Debbie) Holloway - many probably remember me as Debbie Connolly from Yokota or from Charlotte (pre-marriage)... I haven't been Connolly in 7 years so it's weird to hear my name.. I sometimes refer to my sister as Brigette Holloway.... I am a mother of 4... yes... 4 children... all under 3 years old.. I know the math doesn't add up but there is a set of twins in there and NO WE DIDN'T WAIT on purpose and not on purpose... but that's a whole other blog. My first three kids are boys and my miracle child is my baby girl who came to me on July 3, 2007... she completes my family... and I do mean COMPLETES my family.. so until I am 80 and my kids start having thier own kids there will be no more babies in my house! I have recently finished my Master's degree in Eduational Administration so I hope and pray for a new job in admin soon. I look everyday to see if any jobs open up - and only jobs on this island... I am not putting my family on another plane for a long time... Can you imagine taking four YOUNG children on a plane from Frankfurt, Germany to Okinawa, Japan.. yeah... better yet, I am sure that you didn't even want to be on the same plane as us either.. ha ha ha ha So until then I teach Kindergarten here in Oki. But pray for a new job to come my way. We are finally pretty settled here in Okinawa. We are slowly taking chances at exploring the island. The weekends are so hectic that we have to plan in advance to do so. But the good thing is I can go to the base and walk out to the ocean if we feel like it. So I don't have to travel far. If you ever have the money or the time to head out to Sunny Okinawa.. let me know first and we'll be happy to set up a place for you to lay your head!
