I don't like to label myself but everyone thinks I'm a femme. I'm Taiwanese and I've been here since I was 11.
Things that would make me a FOB:
I wasn't borned here,
I drive a car that Asians love,
I like Japanese manga/animes,
I can point out where Japan/Korea/Taiwan is on the world map,
My favorite food is Chinese,
I speak Mandarin (with my parents),
I use SK-II (if youre a fob, you'd know what it is...),
I look like a fob (or do I??),
All my family is fob,
I'm not a Christian,
And I have a hello kitty pillow.
Things that would make me Americanized:
I voted, I listen to NPR every morning, I watch documentaries (love michael moore!),
It's 90% white at my work,
I used to go to school in Kansas and I was like the only Asian in my school,
I think of myself as an American, I call LA my home,
I listen to english rock, hip pop, love songs, 80's, 90's and classical,
I yell at people who don't speak a word of English "GO BACK TO CHINA!!" (j/k!!..I'm nice to everyone!),
I love stand-up comedy, and I love going to the comedy house,
I like tacos and burgers,
I slack off at work,
I'd date any race,
I moved out when I was 18,
And I came out to my parents when I was 12 (so they forced me out when I was 18...d'oh).
Wow my non-fob list is longer than my fob list... so I'm not a fob..hehe!
