About Me

In the process of losing my hearing to the following:
I am myself, at least last time I checked. I spent a few years studying japanese and it's really fucking up my english. When TV is worth watching: Simpsons/Family Guy/Daily Show/Southpark/Seinfeld.
I enjoy hiking and or taking long walks. My current favorite stomping grounds are Mission Trials and Lake Murray...nothing beat just walking 10 minutes and being in the middle of the wilderness.
Love going to bookstores and pouring over design and art magazines and then not paying for them...and checking out an indie film or 2 at Ken Cinemas. And of course hangin out on "the internets" as Bush would call them.
Constantly listenin to music such as Bjork, Yeasayer, Belle & Sebastian, Blonde Redhead, Grizzly Bear, Radiohead, Broken Social Scene, Gorillaz, Sparklehorse, David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, Sigur Ros, Metric etc etc etc. I'm seriously addicted to music, I ususally download at least 2 albums a week if not more. When it isn't music I'm listening to it's talk radio in the form of Howard Stern, Air America, and NPR. I recieved a guitar for Christmas a few years back, so learning that has become my new side hobby.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I dig the non plastic creative types, I love meeting people that can bounce ideas off each other and inspire and critique one another. I enjoy people who find themselves more comfortable in the great outdoors than in a club. I'm a very visual person, sometimes I can communicate better in writing than in human audio speak..so enjoy the silence once in awhile!

I don't party much downtown, clubs bore me, alcohol and bad music do not a good time make. Wouldn't mind meeting anyone who loves or at least "values' good design, good music, the occasional video games, hanging at borders, or just walking around or seeing movies.
