I'm a yahoo, just like you!

About Me

I just put on my writing pants so I’m pretty much ready, and here’s what I want to know: (and in case you are already wondering, yes I know that having a pair of writing pants is a bit crazy in and of itself, and no, I don’t actually own a pair. But that’s not the point.) I pretty much come and go as I please in this mind state I found out here. You better believe that this is the venue for all things absurd. I don’t even believe that, but then monkeys see and monkeys do, right. And you my friend are a monkey if I’ve ever seen one. That is not meant as a jab, or a poke, or even a compliment. In theory it really means nothing at all. But back again to what the point really IS. The IS, your IS. Back to what I want to know: and her it comes: your story; your foible, your folly, your immaculate reflections on immaculate conceptions and other such wonders of the world. What I’m really striving for is some sort of half-conscious understanding of who this person is that has even the most remote interest in these words that have somehow miraculously dashed through thousands of miles of cable-wire induced fiber-optic frenzy for the sole purpose of staring back at you through the anti-climactic silver glow of your computer screen. Really, that is it. So here’s your chance. At the count of 3, unfasten your seat belt, let it ride and don’t forget not to take it all too seriously. Ok, 1..2...3….Begin.

Music:

The world is filled with people who are no longer needed-and who try to make slaves of all of us-and they have their music and we have ours. Theirs, the wasted songs of a superstitious nightmare-and without their musical and ideological miscarriages to compare our Song of Freedom to, we'd not have any opposite to compare music with-and like the drifting wind, hitting against no obstacle, we'd never know its speed, its power.-Woody Guthrie

it's ready, it's willing, it's able

This confounded procession of willingness; this maddening, eagerness to make it happen beats like a bass drum through my body.  These are the days, the nights, the moments tracing an ou...
