Good conversation and an occasional stiff drink.
I'm getting ready to leave California, so this isn't really a priority right now.
I've mostly lost touch over the years. Radio is largely dead, as far as I'm concerned. The only bands that have managed to retain my true attention are NIN, Bjork, Beck, and Ween. You know, the ones who mix creativity with musical talent. Oh, and I obviously can't forget the foundations: Jazz and Classical music.
Wes Anderson and David Lynch films come to mind first. Can't forget The Secret Adventures of Tom Thumb (Bolex Brothers); that one first opened my eyes to "creative" movies.
Kung Fu, Kids in the Hall, Soap, Raymond, Daily Show (haven't had TV since 2000, however).
I've read books in the past, and will read more in the future, but I've always aspired to read more than I do. I have more recently come to terms with the fact that I much prefer to gain knowledge through good conversation.
Krishnamurti and Hunter Thompson come to mind first. I know, they don't exactly go together, but try to envision them as two parts of one person, like the Hulk.
