The God You Save May Be Yourself...

About Me

My name's Justin and I live in Newfoundland, Canada. Work keeps my busy much of the time, so my spare time is limited. In those rare moments of spare time, I enjoy sitting back with a good book, watching movies, studying history and philosophy, playing guitar, and lots of other things that help keep my sane. I don't watch much TV, but I'm a big news and documentary buff. I'm currently studying music theory, which can be overwhelming, but is interesting to anyone who is curious as to how music works.I became a proud member of the Church of Satan in July XLI A.S. (2006 c.e.)

My Interests

Music, music theory, movies, books, guitar, Satanism, Jack Daniel's, Ogrish Forum, philosophy, history, writing, etc.

I'd like to meet:

Anybody with something interesting to say. It seems that many people here on MySpace only exist to have a massive friends list. I'm not one of them...

Music:

Dave Matthews Band, Depeche Mode, Mark Kozelek and his various bands, Sigur Ros, Lustmord, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Peter Gabriel, Sarah Brightman, Eric Johnson, Boyd Rice/NON, Blood Axis, Dethklok, Emperor, Marduk, Akercocke, Cryptopsy, Acheron, Darkthrone, Hypocrisy, Mayhem, Belphegor, Samael, Carpathian Forest, Dissection, Zyklon, Arcturus, Satyricon, and many more bands!!!

Movies:

I'll watch just about anything, but my favourite genre is horror, especially the older horror movies (mid 70's - late 90's). The horror genre these days is crap, for the most part.I'm also a big David Lynch fan. I love everything from his short films, to "Inland Empire". It's hard to choose a favourite Lynch film, but I'd probably go with "Mulholland Drive".

Television:

I love "Seinfeld", "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "CSI: Miami", "Trailer Park Boys", and "Masters of Horror," and "Metalocalypse." I also watch a lot of news and documentaries.

Books:

I like reading books about philosophy, and true crime/serial killers. My favourite books are those of Anton LaVey, especially "The Devil's Notebook", and also "The Satanic Scriptures" by Peter H. Gilmore. I also like "Lucifer Rising: Sin, Devil Worship & Rock & Roll" by Gavin Baddeley, "Might is Right" by Ragnar Redbeard, and anything by Nietzsche.
