The Doom Valley Drivers [R.I.P.]

About Me

I year and no drummer. It hasn't been said but we are as dead as james brown,

Review from Raw Nerve :

I expected slow, naturally. Far from it!

Manchester gang Doom Valley Drivers offer up some of the oddest, more off kilter music in the UK metal scene. Plenty of chaotic drumming, blasts, big grooves, chops and changes, vocals of all ranges delivered very powerfully and tons of simply cool riffing.

I hear tinges of Coalesce and Meshuggah, Pig Destroyer, faster Pantera ('Far Beyond Driven' era), and a hefty chunk of the harder Candiria moments, and then the rest of the DVD blueprint is pretty damn unique as they have some very fresh ideas coming from all angles, notably in the drum patterns and smooth and subtle changes of rhythm and timings.

I bet this band, plus a big production, would cause huge waves all over the world's extreme metal fans. I hope it happens soon for them. -RAW NERVE PROMOTIONS, 2006

DRUMMER WANTED. PLEASE AND SHIT.

Sadly, for us, and maybe you, Rob "The Meathammers" Meathammers is leaving us at the start of November to play full time for his own band, the very fucking awesome Tommy:Gorilla (like a schizophrenic dillinger, with aids, on crack). That means we need another one. If you are based in Manchester and have the skills to pay said bills and want to be in our band then please give us a mail via this here myspace

Salute to the dead

Today we salute a dead friend, she killed many and inspired awe in all that saw her. Her eggs are sadly sterile, but we'll move on. Many more will die.
