I did my first play in grade school and then began doing more in high school. His junior year, he transferred to a different high school because more acting class’ and plays were offered. His first success as an actor began with a dance show called, U Dance with B.96, a local radio stations version of American Bandstand. Right out of high school he moved to, New York City, where he was accepted to: The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. During his time there he did some Off Broadway.After New York, he moved back to Chicago and took acting and commercial class’ all around Chicago. In January of 2000, he moved to, Hollywood, California.His first film got him a supporting role in, Nightmare Blvd, starring Corbin Bernsen and that followed with a Stimoral Gum Commercial. He then did Student Films for the New York Film Academy and USC. He later starred in the film Big Top Winkle and three Short Films, one titled Strange and Hopeless, where he met Writer/Director Monique Jacobs. In 2004, he landed a role in Lost Angel starring, C. Thomas Howell. In 2005, he co-starred in World On Fire, which premiered at “Amiens International Film Festival†in November of last year.His first producing credit was in Cowboy Soul, a five-minute short film and in two spec. Commercials, which he also wrote and starred in.
After meeting David A. Fahning—effects artist, Lorenzo took David’s story idea and wrote Big Bear Park, starred in it and Executive Produced it.
Lorenzo is currently working on new ideas and is always open to hear and work with filmmakers.
