Traveling, traveling, traveling. I just love it and can't get enough of it. See, I should of stuck with that childhood dream of becoming a stewardess. Ok,I should say....flight attendant? My younger years we'd take a summer vacation several weeks to a month perhaps and do the road trip. We'd go as far up to Canada, or go all the way to Florida stopping at almost every state inbetween. So, basically I've been to a great part of the US, the Phillippines, Hawaii, islands like Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Mexico to the more exotic of Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora. My next adventure I think will be to Europe. I'd really love to get to the Mediterranean area first if anything. (Maybe in the next couple of years). My latest adventure was a "bachelorette cruise" to Mexico w/ the girls and you all know who you are. Let's just say we left hot pink boa feathers all over the ship. We all had a blast on the cruise and ended our 3 day adventure lounging in the spa. Other than traveling, I love spending time with family and friends. Especially spending time w/ my neice, Alyssa and new baby nephew Matthew. They're both the sparkle in my eye. I love them soooo much. Family is always there for me when I need them and I love to spend time w/ them just as well. Between family and the 2 little ones, I do spend time w/ my friends, old and some new and just enjoy life and making the most of what we have. I'm very fortunate to have friends. (To my Yayas...Camille, Diana and Desiree....love ya all bunches!!)
Make new friends and keep the old, they are silver and they are gold. Maybe get in contact with some long lost friends too.
Well, I like alot of different types of music. In fact, I sometimes surprise myself. I guess it all depends on my mood. It can be the mellow melodies we hear in that boring elevator ride, or the musical chorus line chords, to the island tunes or even the 50's, 60's 70's....old school...all the way up to now music....ok did I cover it all. Oh wait, I can even listen to some of the country tunes...thanks to one of my best friends (Yaya) who is a radio personality on a local country station. So, I guess you can catch me listening to just about anything. Hey, I can even listen to some international types of music too. Well, everything in moderation...well almost everything.
There's a lot of favorites. Yes, I admit. I love chick flicks and of course...I'm a hopeless romantic so anything covered w/ lovey dovey stuff I just tear over. My whole family knows me and waits for the tears to flow. Hmmm...the last movie I did see was "Memoirs of a Geisha" and I loved it. I do need to read the book though. Everyone says it was great. What else? Oh, the Notebook.....yes, needed a whole box of tissue for that one. I love old movies like Little Women or Peyton Place and even the Musicals...just watched "There's No Business Like Show Business". Can't forget my favorite seasonal movie "White Christmas"...I'm not too much of a horror type of watcher... though I have seen some...anything that deals w/ evil demon stuff is way too scary for me......and no thanks to my brother in law Rich who grossed me out watching a gorey movie by Rob Zombie "House of 1000 corspes". No thanks.... never again...gave me nightmares... I'll stick to the chick flicks and comedy. "The 40 yr old virgin" was hilarious. Oh yea, can't wait for Di Vinci Code as I loved that book too.
Ok, lemme break it down. Don't have that much time to watch tv and when I do...I hate commercials..so yes, thank you Camille for introducing me to TiVo.....if you don't have it.....GET IT....GET IT...GET IT....you'll save a 1/4 of your lifetime....trust me...once you have it, you'll wonder why they didn't invent this sooner. Ok, so everything is taped so when you get hour or two you can basically watch a months worth of shows...I kind of change my shows depending on the season....it was DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, NIP AND TUCK, THE OC, ONETREE HILL, SMALLVILLE, GILMORE GIRLS, AMAZING RACE, GREY'S ANATOMY oh yea and HGTV, FOODTV and I really can't think of the others right now and that's fine cuz TiVo remebers it for you and records things it thinks I'd like. So, I don't have to worry about missing a show....and get this if you do have to watch LiveTv....you can STOP, PAUSE, REWIND ETC...its' amazing. You go Camille!! You got me hooked.
