I love all expressions of dance and music. I dance with the Waimea Dance Group as well as Ta Mau Tamari'i a Tiare/Na Kamal'i a Kiele. I enjoy outdoorsy things, playing sports and running! Some of my favorites include checking out new restaurants and sharing a meal with someone special (friend, family or foe).
I am an explorer, traveler and am always game to try new things.
People who are of interest to me are fun, motivating people who can teach me a thing or two and keep me captivated by their intelligence, wit, humor, charm and worldly knowledge. However, it all comes down to exchanging positive energy with them.
I like reminiscing as well as making and sharing STORIES!
I've recently discovered designer jeans (where have I been?) and when I am able to afford a good comfy pair, or find a good sale, I may be inclined to make a purchase.
I miss going to the beach and listening to the sound of the waves as well as sharing secrets with them. The spray of water from the waves kissing my face, my legs and my body refresh my spirit.
I need to sit down more often and practice the art of breathing and listening to my heart beat. I think reading is food for the soul and I need to finish the book(s) that I've started.
While sitting down and having a cup of coffee or tea I like to people watch, soul speak and strike up conversations.

I listen to jus about EVERYTHING. From country to classical, you name it! Whatever makes me skip, sing, shake or sway!
Movies:
Ones that make me laugh and snort noodles out of my nose, and those that make me think and cry in the first 60 secs (haha) wait..those are Tagalog movies!! I don't know at this point...I'm a sponge....so I just..watch...
Television:
Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, 24, Nip Tuck, Friends, Will and Grace, Law and Order: SVU, WB Shows, cooking and decorating shows. BUT, I haven't been watching a whole lot of it lately - which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Books:
I love all kinds of books! Especially the ones that are passed on to me by my friends.A few from the library of faves are: Any Ethnic Studies type books, All about Love and Her Wild American Self (in the process), Echoes of the Soul, Mastery of Love, The Alchemist as well as any by Maya Angelou. My list could go on and if you'd like to add to my library jus let me know!
Heroes:
On a personal level: my mom.On a more general note...WOMYN, CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE and ALL of the LOVEs in my life whom inspire me everyday... Those who struggle and continuously battle against injustices...
