In the waning days of 1999 a fever of anticipation besieged the world. Whether it was for fear of Y2k Armageddon or fear that foolish leaders would weave the people they lead through the needles eye of doom, catalysts were abound. An unlikely convergence between creative people was born in that time in a small house in Nyack New York called the Elf Village. In this house Hip Hop MC's gathered spontaneously spitting caustic warnings of global perdition while Grindcore Death Metal musicians pounded and tweaked the knobs and dials of their nearly obsolete electronic noise-making instuments. The result was a magical beast called NEGATIVE FEEDBACK, and they were a beast. Whenever this amount of energy gathers in this small of an area, ventilation becomes key to suppressing volatility.
