*****12/21/07-On the move again and back in sunny South Florida...have a temp. gig helping a friend with his business and living in a 'Miami Vice' condo..!..my plans are pretty open-ended right now, but probably start working my way down the Keys soon...getting fond of living day by day and enjoying the moment...*****11/18/07-Oh man, just have to say much thanks to true friends and family for always being there, means more than you know...thank you....*****09/25/07-Long story as usual, but ended up back in the Pacific NW last month and been working tugboats between Seattle and Alaska since my return...just had 24 hours off in 20+ days of working so I've still been kinda scarce..!..not sure exactly what's next (shocking I know), but short and long term plans are in their usual state of formation and flux. I'm freezing my a** off, my tan is fading, and this gray weather sucks, so Key West and other warm places are calling...we'll see, but the adventures continue...!*****08/05/07-Landed a First Mate job on the 80' yacht 'Cindarella'...living aboard in super nice/rich Palm Beach and good times so far....*****07/22/07-Been awhile so here's a quick review: worked on the Water Taxi in Ft. Lauderdale, good times but decided to get stuff back to WA, drove over 10,000 land miles moving trailer, boat, scooter, kayak, etc cross country, lived on a farm in Roy, WA, just flew back to Ft. Lauderdale and bunking in a yacht crewhouse looking for a boat job...could write a book to fill in the blanks...maybe someday...(and sorry to everyone for being so scarce, i appreciate friends so much, just been one of those years!)...*****01/11/07-just finished my first two weeks of working on a 90' tugboat in Miami! Was a crazy cool experience/job but I've decided to keep seeking and wander on...just don't quite know how or where yet! Happy New Year Everyone!*******12/08/06-I'm currently in southern Florida and slowing down for a bit. Loving the weather, beach, and new experiences every day! Posted some new photos of my trip down...****** Hey All....I've kinda changed my page to try and give periodic updates/photos during my sailing journey. For those who don't know, I recently quit my job, sold my stuff, bought a familiar 15' boat, trailered across the country, and am currently sailing down the East Coast of the U.S. I don't have a final plan or destination, but I'm hoping to take the Intracoastal Waterway the next 1000+ miles to Florida. Other than that, I'm taking it a day at a time, figuring it out as I go, doing a little soul searching, and having a great experience so far.....!
