I am a professional music educator. I record full band arrangements by myself for both fun and to insure that I stay current on my playing skills as a band director. My main instruments are the Oboe/ English Horn and the Saxophone, though I am quite capable on all the woodwinds (clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon, flute) and functional on some brass. I have performed with several orchestras and collegiate ensembles. I have a passion for learning new things and I'm open to music experimentation. I would like to learn how to record better as well as how to use effects pedals with woodwinds. My newest adventures have led me to begin writing music. "Unavailable" was my first try at writing a song. Shortly after that I created "Here Comes The Rain", which I have yet to complete, but you can listen to my rough draft here. My final piece was "Confusion", which I used to experiment with trying to write some horn lines. I 'd love nothing more than to get into playing with a band again.
