I USED TO BE NICOLE...THE DESIGNER, THE "MECHANIC", THE CRAZY GIRL THAT MANY KNOW. NOW I AM LOGAN'S MOTHER. NOT THAT I AM NOT STILL ALL OF THOSE THINGS AS BEFORE, NOW THEY ARE JUST NOT AS IMPORTANT. I WOULD RATHER HAVE TOO MANY "IMPOSSIBLE" GOALS THAN NOT HAVE ANY AT ALL. I THOUGHT THEN THAT MY PRIORITIES WERE IN ORDER, THEN I HAD A CHILD AND HE IS REALLY THE ONLY PRIORITY. I USED TO BE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE THAT WONDERED WHY THOSE HORRIBLE THINGS HAPPENED TO ME IN MY LIFE, AND NOW I KNOW THAT THEY WERE ALL JUST STEPPING STONES TO MOLD ME INTO WHO I AM TODAY. IF JUST ONE OF THOSE THINGS NEVER HAPPENED I WOULD BE SUCH A DIFFERENT PERSON AND WOULDN'T BE AS CAPABLE AS I AM NOW TO RAISE MY SON. I NOW KNOW ALL OF THE THING I HAVE TO TEACH HIM, WAYS HE IS MENT TO BE. IF IT WEREN'T FOR ME HAVING MY LIFE, LOGAN WOULDN'T HAVE HIS. SO IF ALL OF THOSE HORRIBLE THINGS HAD TO HAPPEN FOR HIM TO BE HERE, THEN I GUESS IT WAS ALL WORTH IT. I ALSO USED TO THING THAT THE TERM "SINGLE MOM" WAS A BAD THING, BUT NOW I AM PROUD TO BE ONE, IT JUST MEANS THAT I DON'T NEED ANYONE ONE ELSE. OH AND BY THE WAY...LOOKY BELOW...I MADE THOSE :)

MY OLD RESPONSE TO THIS USED TO BE SOMETHING ABOUT NOT WANTING TO MEET ANYONE, BUT REALLY HOW WOULD THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD. I DO HATE THE HUMAN RACE, DON'T GET MORE WRONG, BUT I'VE REALIZED THAT I REALLY HATE WHAT THEY HAVE BECOME AND I KNOW THAT THEY HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BE SO MUCH MORE. I DON'T MEAN NEW ELECTRONICS, GREAT INVENTIONS AND THINGS LIKE THAT, THAT IS INEVITABLE. I MEAN THE WAY THAT SOCIETY SHOULD BE TAKING CARE OF ITS OWN, THE YOUNG, THE OLD, THE SICK, THE WELL, AND THE MISFORTUNATE. EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE GREAT. AND TO BE GREAT, IT INVOLVES SACRIFICE, CARING, CONSIDERATION AND SOME COMPASSION. I'M NOT SAYING THAT EVERYTHING SHOULD BE A HANDOUT FROM SOMEONE ELSE, BUT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE HAND OUT FOR SOMEONE ELSE. IT'S AS SIMPLE AS MERGING ON THE PARKWAY, USING YOUR SIGNALS WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING, NOT LEAVING YOUR SHOPPING CART IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AISLE SO NO ONE ELSE CAN GET BY. SO I GUESS I REALLY WANT TO MEET PEOPLE THAT WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN A POSITIVE WAY. AND THOSE WHO DO NOT JUDGE SOMEONE BEFORE THEY MEET THEM. IF YOU DON'T YOU'D BE SURPRISED AS TO HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY NICE.
