When life hands you tomatoes... make tomatoade

About Me

I'm a musician in a band called "Liar's Handshake." More than likely there is a flyer below this of any upcoming shows. People would probably agree that I am pretty talented, and that I also waste a lot of it as well. I speak spanish, and I go to school for nursing. Mostly I just go out with my friends and have a really good time. If anything gets in the way of that, I get pretty grumpy. Other than that...

My Interests

Check out my band! www.myspace.com/theliarshandshakeI enjoy a shared laugh at a witty or silly scenario in public, and a sad, heart-wrenched scenario alone or in private. My hatred of dogs has waned since the advent of "Guera, the dog" and my love of music nurished since the advent of "The Liar's Handshake." I get down, and I do it again, and somewhere between 4-8 beers titration, I'm a terrific pool shark. My main vigorous thinking lies directly on family (and the friends who count as family) and music/academics. That doesn't make me a good student but it makes me worthy of a good scientific debate. Also, I love being asked for medical advice.

I'd like to meet:

the drummer from Refused, either of the John's from They Might be Giants, Peyton Joyce, Tito Puente, Craig Kilborn, and anyone who has ever believed... because I believe... I believe in pain, I believe in misery, I believe in filth and injustice, cruelty and bile. I believe in murder, I believe in suffering, I believe in a thing called love, just listen to the rythm of my heart, and I believe...in you...better ana?

Music:

Q and not U, Pinback, Wilco, Neutral Milk Hotel, TV on the Radio, Occasional Smashing Pumpkin's and Oasis for nostalgia purposes (you know who's fault that is), Rueben's Accomplice, Jimmy Eat World, They Might be Giants, Donovan, Refused, the Aquabats, Bullet Train to Moscow, Where Eagles Dare, Rise Against, Interpol, Koop, Coldplay, Sparta, Modest Mouse (except the new stuff), Violent Femmes, The Police, Early Saves the day, any really hard Drum and Bass, At the Drive-in, the Bled, Louie Prima, Frank Sinatra, Spanish Harlem Orchestra, some Led Zepplin, some Beatles, all Big-band Jazz and Salsa. I also love any music from the eighties that reminds me of when my mom used to vaccuum on saturday morning. I would LOVE to see the back of Kenny Chesney's head explode with the exit wound of a .45 bullet, or just the downfall of his career by guilt of drug charges or something.

Movies:

Exorcist III, Fire Walk with Me, V for Vendetta, Falling Down, Donnie Darko, Die Hard III, Fight Club was pretty cool, The City of Lost Children, Dark City, City of God, Forbidden Zone, Naked Lunch, Life is Beautiful, Niagra Niagra, Il Monstruo, Johnny Toothpick, Big Fish, Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, Almost Heroes, Spanking the Monkey, Angel Heart, Ninth Gate, Beaver and Buttface (a really funny porno), Sixth Sense, Groundhogs day, Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan... You know, I think that it's really easy to please me with a movie, I just don't like Tomb Raider or Alien vs. Predator type of movies. I like new ideas for plots and stuff...I think you get the gist

Television:

Arrested Developement (my true love), Family Guy, Simpson's, The Critic, Dr. Katz, Just Shoot Me, Twin Peaks, the news, Any sister of the Discovery Channel, and Univision

Books:

any JD Salinger, Ray Bradbury, Robin Cook, Sal Williams, and other randoms like American Psycho, Legion (the exorcist III) was awesome!!!, Illuminatus Trilogy (haven't finished it yet)

Heroes:

My dad, Wilford Brimley (who else can survive diabetes for that long), any doctor that was ever nice to me, (Dr. Dare is my Hero, so is Dr. Benjamin), anyone who ever won a nobel prize (except after all those endocrinologist kept finding new hormones in the same year, I think that's cheating), anyone who can do a flip with a twist in it from a ground-standing position, anyone who has ever really saved a life, not like how I save lives, but like the heimlich maneuver and things like that, The artist who drew the Four Stages of Cruelty series from De Monstris.

Billy got beat up

yeah, I definately got beat up. The bouncers at my favorite watering hole were choking this guy and they knocked him out (so I thought) and then just left him on the floor. I approached them (drunk) a...
