The Split is a rock band based out of the Chickasha, OK area. All long-time friends (who played music together off and on) the Split started the end of the 2006 year. The band's desire is to write some music that is very honest and open about our world today. Songs that explore the questions that every person finds his or her self asking. Every person is asking questions about who they are and what their purpose is in life. The Split's desire is to approach these questions and maybe give their opinion on life, how beautiful it really is, and how one can come to the point of finding purpose and meaning. They are just a few guys who love to play music, love to meet new people, and love to share how they feel about life. Their music is hopefully enjoyable to listen to, and it is very honest lyrically.
