Welcome to my MySpace page. Thanks for stopping by. If you're a friend from a while back or a new acquaintance, I hope you'll find yourself at home as you look around.
About my band: Scott, RC and Chris are quite a crew... Working with these guys is like playing with a comedy team. Too funny. There's Scott, or Scoots (no, I have no idea), RC a.k.a. TEXT (he can't seem to keep his fingers from his phone when we rehearse), and Chris - Weston, who's the voice of reason. Hopefully, you'll like the music we create. We have such a great time in the process.
About my friends: living life with you all is like singing a million songs with varying degrees of dynamic range and loving every minute of it - whether in stellar harmony or in curious disonance, we're somehow never out of tune. You guys are the absolute BEST!!
Me? OK, random facts: I love night time, piano music, skiing in winter, hiking in the fall, and I love hearing my niece laugh. She has the BEST laugh. I love hearing my dad sing. I love to watch my brothers, and especially my sister-in-law, dance. They're pretty good - but surprisingly so... it's really hilarious. I'd like to sit in a think tank and write lyrics, melodies and arrangements all day until my fingers and mind are so tired I have to go for a run just to clear my head enough to write some more. Since my break from piano I've wished I had never taken a break. Now, my mind is my only real rehearsal hall. But, like the words of Noah Calhoun in one of my favorite movies of all time, "It wasn't over... it STILL isn't over!"
Well, that's about all I'll write for now. I hope to have a few more songs up in the next few weeks so stop back by when you can and throw in your 2 cents!
Yours always,

Canoeing at the Cottage on the Lake - for your eyes only

It's been a while since we've talked so I thought I'd write.  The invitation was a kind one:  to go to my sister's in-laws' cottage in northern Chicago; I wanted to tell you a...
