About Me

I am a powderhound (for people who don't ski or snowboard, a powderhound is someone who craves powder snow. They have the ability to smell when it is going to snow, and a great day for them is flying through waist deep powder or better with zero visibility and snow falling so hard you just have to feel your way while all the tourists are at the lodge or in their hotels wondering when the sun will appear again. A powerhound is also a local who considers a snow day a reason to close up shop and head to the mountain. Every other day is just boring to that person.), photographer, lighting guy for the Motion Picture, Television, Theater and Event worlds who is in NYC and wants explore the city with others. 10 years of my life was spent in colorado, skiing and snowboarding at crested butte, Keystone, A-basin and Breckenridge while in school for various majors at different times and finally graduated with a cinematography degree. Then like every film graduate who is looking to make a career in the biz, I transplanted to LaLa Land with nothing but dreams of lighting big sets. Advice to recent film grads, no matter how good you are or your specialty, make sure you know someone with pull in the biz and make sure they are willing to help you get a foot in the door. Long and the short of it, I was in La-La Land living in venice beach a year or so and got a little bitter. So I thought school would be a good place to go for a change and refocusing. I spent two terms at Brooks Institute of Photography, then took into prespective the cost of it all, monitarily and emotionally, and decided there are better ways to learn photography.I left Cali and headed back to the east coast, took the first job I could get and worked in retail for several months. The job was lighting sales at B&H. I have to say, I got into a lot of trouble there namely enough to get kicked off the floor and put on the phones. Any questions about that adventure, email me and I will talk to you about it. Through all the problems, it was a place I met my first NYC friends Namely, Soulproduct. and other cool dudes, like the super hot blowing off the pages of vougue photographer Joey Quintero. Hire him now before he is too expensive and charges like Annie Lebowitz. PS B&H has great prices, I would never work there again. I resigned and went to citytech (NYC college of technolegy for those not in NYC) for a bachelors in Entertainment Tech to learn what I didn't in Film School.I am a passionate person was a kind heart. Three things seem to govern my nature. Born in the month of aquarius, in the year of the dragon, given the name leo after my grandfather (jewish tradition.) They seem like powerful symbols to me and I am still trying to find true meaning in all that. My artistic nature leads me to see life with an active view and an eye for line, shape, form, color, and contrastFinal NOte: If you are trying to get me to go to your or some you work for's webcam or paysite, I am not interested. If you want me, I am right here and open to talk. And to all the girls who do that you are all very sexy, but I want to know the real you not a web cam.
