The IdealistYou are creative with a great imagination, living in your own inner world. Open minded and accepting, you strive for harmony in your important relationships. It takes a long time for people to get to know you. You are hesitant to let people get close. Your ..5 Match: ENFP

The InspirerYou love being around people, and you are deeply committed to your friends. You are also unconventional, irreverant, and unimpressed by authority and rules. Incredibly perceptive, you can usually sense if someone has hidden motives. You use lots of colorful language and expressions. You're qutie the storyteller! You would make an excellent entrepreneur, politician, or journalist. What's Your Personality Type?

First Things First: Name: Spencer

Birthday (Age): August 24, 1984 (21)

Birthplace/Grew Up: Simcoe, ON

Current Location: Thornhill (one block outside of Toronto)

Height: 5'7" - 5'8"

Body Type: Slim-Athletic

Eyes: Blue

Hair: Brown (currently pretty short)

Heritage: Scottish on Both Sides
Beneath the Surface: Passions: To always keep learning new things and having new experiences and challenges, and to use my knowledge to make a difference.

Goals: I've posted many in this blog, and will surely have more to add in the future.

Inspirations: I follow this quote often: "your presence should be motivation enough." But I also find inspiration in others, for any number of reasons such as their brilliant work in a field of study, or their courageous acts.

Fears: I really do believe there is nothing to fear but fear itself.

Weakness: I can procrastinate a bit sometimes.

Favourite Memories: Many childhood memories of snow days, hockey tournaments, birthday parties, and countless other things. Also memories of when my little brother and my niece were younger--there really is nothing like seeing youngins grow up.

Religious Beliefs: I would fall under the "spiritual but not religious" heading. I don't believe in any "God" figure, really, and I certainly do not subscribe to any religious sect.

Political Beliefs: For the most part, I have libertarian views on governance and society. There are a many issues here and there (some pretty important to me, others not so much) where I would say I hold centrist or even liberal views, but I would call myself a libertarian if I had to pick a label.

When I'm with people: I would say that half the time I am in the mood to just chill out with a handful of people, have some drinks, and play poker or something. The other half of the time, I would be more in the mood to go to a club or a party and hang out with a lot of friends and acquaintances and maybe meet a bunch of new people.

When I'm alone: I'll usually come online for awhile, maybe watch a little bit of TV, and do a bit of reading. In the city, that is all you can really do alone, but when I'm in the country I'll go for drives, take a walk or sit out at the lake, have a fire, look at the stars, and all that other peaceful stuff you can only do in the country these days.

When I'm dating: I can't really say there is any one place to go or anything since I tend to date girls who are pretty different from the last, so obviously then we'd do different things together. I prefer single dates over group dates, and overall just simple dates or quiet nights in.

Marriage: I don't see myself getting married for maybe another 6-7 years.

Children: I would like a couple after I've been married for a few years first.

What makes me different: Pretty much everything. I follow an unconventional diet/lifestyle--veganism. I have pretty unconventional poltiical beliefs, especially for living in Canada. Most of my opinions and/or the reasonings behind them are pretty unconventional.

Where I'd like to travel: I would put Italia, Chile, Greece, and cross-country of Canada on top of a long list of places I'd like to visit. (In case you're wondering, I want to see Canada partly because it is my country, but mostly because there is a lot of land left relatively unharmed by industrialization--for now. There is a lot of nature to be experienced in Canada.)

In a Girl: Eyes: No preference.

Hair: I tend to like dark hair, but oddly enough I've dated more blondes than brunettes, so I wouldn't say it matters.

Height: Doesn't matter, though I can't recall ever dating a taller woman.

Weight: I wouldn't put a number on it or anything, but being a pretty active/athletic person myself, I tend to also date women who share some of those interests.

Style: No real preference. I am a pretty jeans-and-t-shirt kind of guy most of the time, if that is any indication.
Favourites: Movie: JFK, Pulp Fiction, Almost Heroes

Album: Led Zeppelin BBC Sessions

Song: I couldn't pick just one so I'll go with what I've been listening to a lot lately: U2 - Sunday Bloody Sunday, The Tragically Hip - 50 Mission Cap, James Blunt - Beautiful, System of a Down - Sweet Pea, Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Neil Young - After the Gold Ruch, Led Zeppelin - Since I've Been Loving You

TV Show: Seinfeld and the Simpsons for my all-time picks. House is my favourite current show as well as Prison Break when it's on. Other than that, I watch a bit of CSI, NUMB3RS, and hockey.

Food: Guacamole sandwich with spinach, tomatoes, and other good stuff on pumperknickel rye.

Sports Team: Montreal Canadiens

Book: 1984 and Animal Farm are my all-time picks. I mostly read political/historical non-fiction though.

Online Messenger phrase: "lol" or "lmao"

Season: Winter, when it snows and looks nice (before the cars and pedestrians muck it all up). Otherwise summer.
