Tahquamenon Falls

Click here to make your own!we started playing together as a band in about 2003-2004 really.before that we had the occasional jam with our buddy, david, back in the high school days. after i got a job at 'meridian screen printing' i went to the top hat pawn shop on cedar st. with david and bought the drumset. we went to a couple other places before that, but when we got to top hat there was a whole set without cymbals for two hundred and fifty bucks. i figured i would just go for it, and when i told the dude i would buy it he was like "alright, that'll be one hundred and fifty dollars." i never knew weather or not that guy meant to charge me a hundred bucks less than the tag, but i never asked any questions. a few days after that josh and i jammed out, he on drums and i on guitar. that's when josh and i decided that we would be a 2-piece rock band. we had another project with our friend keith about that time too. keith played drums, josh played keyboard and i played guitar. after that we spent the summer writting songs and practicing. we went a long time without a name, but we finally came to rest upon tahquamenon falls. in the fall of 2005 tahquamenon falls played their first show. we have also had a few other projects in the meantime, though t-falls is our baby. we did a few songs with david. we had an improv band called superfastcar with AJ glaub (aka alpha jtango) of treebot and space brains. we also had ben assaff (also of space brains and of dead stream corners) play bass and sing on some t-falls songs and he led us in a couple songs of his. and then we started playing with rael from red teeth and brutalitar. we call that pope jr. tahquamenon falls played more and more shows and drove many miles, drank many beers, recieved many shots, and breathed in many cigaretes in all forms...and we're just now laying down some acceptable recordings. we're going to change-up the tracks on this page pretty regularly as we finish recording this batch of songs, so keep a look out. thanks goes to colin such from funender for being a good friend and sharing his knowledge. same goes to ryan and rael of red teeth, the mk ultra culkin dudes and everybody else mentioned here or otherwise found on our friend list.
