My name is Chris, I'm a 22 year Southsider. I have been a firefighter for the past few years and have experienced a lot of things. I am currently the Lead Engineer at work, which pretty much means I am responsible for 7 pieces of apparatus. Preventative maintenance, emergency maintenance, part ordering, driving them...and all that other good stuff. Not bad for a guy who only knew the basics about vehicles less than a year ago. Now, I've replaced parts that I didn't even knew existed. Lately, I've been trying to figure out exactly which direction I want to go in. My latest conflict is the decision of whether to stay a firefighter, or to continue trying to become a Federal Agent. My goal right now is to be hired at the DEA, but its a long, arduous road to travel. I have a close group of friends who can read me like a book, and can tell when something is bothering me. I work hard to achieve what I want, and no matter how daunting of a task is given to me, I always pull through and make it happen.Aside from the work aspect of life, I enjoy different things on my off time. Whether it be working out, yoga, meditation, hanging out with friends, going on "ghetto runs" or just hopping in my car, picking a direction and just driving. I couldn't tell you how many random places I've been just by driving with no intent of getting anywhere specific.I still live by my motto "N*A*S*O*T*M", which coincidently is one of my tattoos. I have 7 tattoos so far, with plans to get more. Each one of them holds a special meaning, none of them were random "picks off the wall" If you want to know what they mean, just ask. I'm pretty open and honest about everything.
