I am the Director of Bands at Southeast High School in Bradenton, Florida. I have just completed a 4 year term as Assistant Band Director and Coordinator of Percussion Studies at Lakewood Ranch HS (2004-2008). I also served a 6 year tenure as the caption head for percussion and Director of the Show Band at the University of South Florida (2000-2005).I grew up playing gospel music and made my living for years in the clubs, concert halls, studios and on the stages of Chicago's best venues. I toured the country as a member of the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps, the University of Illinois Marching Illini, and various pop, rock, jazz, blues, gospel and R&B bands. I endorse Yamaha Percussion, Innovative Percussion Sticks and Mallets, Remo drumheads and Zildjian cymbals. I am currently the drummer for Wish Factor, a band from Tampa, and for Tim Walker, an up and coming artist from the Tampa area.
