Out of these lists I inherit the scales of Craig Mabbitt's singing and Nick Brooks screaming and my lyrics are on the darker side kind of like Chris Motionless's as well as other dark bands like Bleeding Through and AFI and what not.My lyrics are influenced by movies,video games,and even books but not in a joking manner and are also influenced by the beauty and darkness of the world."Beyond darkness there is always the light of day"-Tom Nero.
And anybody can try to make fun of me all they want but I also like to dress like a band of the darker elements.I dye my hair black and style it,I wear black tight pants,black and white shoes,black nail polish,black dress shirts and other types of v-necks,but the only thing I do not do is wear make-up I dont hate it at all in fact I like it but I just dont do it.I will never ditch my style.Just as Chris Motionless says "When the scene is dead dont expect me to be changed".
Lately I have been really upset by my dream of music. I love music so much and would do anything to make it in the music world and play what I love but honestly the way the music world has been lately I dont think that is possible. It seems that everyone who wishes to be in a band now days just wants to play Pop/Punk, Death/..Metal/..Hardcore, and weird electronica stuff thrown in with breakdowns which is NOT WHAT I WANT! I DONT want to be like Attack Attack!..,3oh!3,Bring Me the Horizon,or All Time Low. Do not get me wrong I DO have respect for these genres as well as these bands but the fact that everybody wants to limit themselves and just play these styles is getting rediculous. I like to Sing,..scream,and write my own lyrics but that doesnt mean I want RANDOM singing parts with Unnecessary breakdowns I really really like my music style to be organized. If you are reading this go check out It Dies Today's The Caitiff Choir album and you will hear a perfectly organized album. It truly is flawless.Even people that dont even like It Dies Today's genre thinks its a fantastic album due to its usage of screaming vocals with well put together singing choruses AND THATS WHAT I LIKE............ORGANIZATATION!.. Now if you are reading this and think Im full of shit then well maybe I am but its not gonna stop me and make me say "Your right I should condone to this new music and play it just like everyone else!" NOOOOOOOOOOOO!..!!!! Whatever happened to making a well put together band? Exactly they disappeared and decided to make a 1 or 2 man band that plays their instruments through a computer for everyone to dance to. No...no...no:) Honestly I want the vocals of a Screamo band for example how the singing is done and how passionate the screaming is but I also want the structure and heavy factor of a Metal/Hardcore band especially the tough voice screams like Brandan of Bleeding Through and Nick ex-It Dies Today. I want verses and choruses and nothing out of the ordinary.I want the lyrics to have a dark atmosphere to them like Atreyu's The Curse album and I want my band to look good especially for photos.I dont want to be in some band that later on starts scrubbing it out or already did start off scrubby I mean once in a while is okay but all the time is just retarded as well as disgusting.I want people to know that we care and that WE STICK TO OUR GUNS! Honestly if you agree thank you very much if you dont well then thats your point of view but thanks for reading this anyways.I still would love to make music and make it in a band so if there is someone out there that can save me right now and that would like to make a band or a band that needs a vocalist help a dreamer out. I type this with all of my heart in hopes that someone can help me make my dream come true. My name is Tom Nero and I wish to be the vocalist of a Screamo Metalcore band....save me.

Well besides music I like to skateboard(I ride Darkstar),play video games(My favorite is the Resident Evil series especially zero and one),watch movies(I love any kind of movie especially big monster movies like Godzilla no joke),and hang out with my girlfriend Emily.I also love to walk and be adventurous and write books (scroll down for info on that).And I also play Magic The Gathering (I rock the Forest). I AM CHRISTIAN STRAIGHT EDGE
I dont smoke and I dont drink for many reasons but mostly because I have lost family and friends to them and because I just dont feel like it.I never labeled myself as Straight Edge but in the past few months I have been thinking about it because I am a dude of my morals.I do not shove my moral beliefs in peoples faces as well as my religion of Christian beliefs I keep them to myself and only myself unless I am asked I am up for a great and serious conversation.
MY WRITING CAREER
Something recently happened that I never thought in a million years would happen. I was up really late one night and really bored which is good because when people are bored they sometimes find new things to do and this is one of those cases. Well I recently watched 2 old Stephen King movies one being It and the other being Graveyard Shift and they made me realize just how much I love Stephen King's movies and how I should really start reading more of his books. The words "imagination" and "strange" have disappeared from our generation when it comes to books and movies instead everyone is just trying to make something "different" or "new" which can be good but lets face it when things are kept simple they just work out much better and give you way more of a fun experience. So after watching these movies I decided to start typing up a Short Horror Fiction Story and after my first sentence was typed up the story took a life of its own and it was then that I decided I want to be an author.I am on my way to creating my first piece of work which will be a full novel filled with Short Horror Fiction Stories created by me.Hopefully this will give me tons of practice so that when I feel the time is right I can create my first full-length one story novel.I would like to thank Stephen King for reviving my imagination for this would not be possible.But most of all I would love to thank Emily Woodard because if it wasn't for her buying me the book IT by Stephen King I wouldn't have thought about being an author so much as I have lately.Thank you Emily you always bring out the best dreams in me and keep them alive:)
