Bass playing is my passion and has been my main instrument for the last 2 decades.I have a desire to see real Metal reign again, such as Iron Maiden, Symphony X, Megadeth, Iced Earth...etc.My current project is titled Born of Silence. The sound is a mixture of a wide variety of styles, melted nicely together as a truly unique sound in Melodic Metal.I have many basses, but my current weapons of choice are a DEAN- Edge Pro 4 and a DEAN DOA2007 HardTail (Number 15 of 15 made.) With an amazing neck-thru-body construction and great fretwork, these things are able to play faster than anything I've ever known, giving me the ability to play bass sweeps in harmony with my two guitarists and blazing fingerstyle runs.As for amps, I currently have a few different rigs in my arsenal, but I'm about to purchase what I feel is the sound I've been searching for. I'll hopefully unveil it soon.I have also been to Africa 3 times, doing Christian missionary work and I'm semi-fluent in Swahili.Being a musician and a missionary, I guess would make me a
'Musicianary.'I am married to a beautiful Kenyan girl named Veronicah. I met her the first year there when I was in a van that broke down on the Serengeti, by Mount Kilimanjaro. It was obvious that it was a divine meeting by God.I'll also probably be playing with more deadly snakes and animals over there. I keep getting yelled at for doing so, but there is something about my safari outfit that just screams for me to do it.You should've seen the faces of everyone on my missions team when they found out I'd petted the third deadliest snake in the world. WOO HOO! The Puff Adder. Crickey, it was a BEAUTY! Oh, or when I had the three posionous sand snakes on my head. I looked like Medusa!Oh, and I HATE onions and milk! They are of the Devil!
