Formed in late 1997, Kill The Messenger resided in the San Francisco Bay Area. They released a 10"/CDep titled "All the Angels Crash and Burn" on Indecision Records, a 7"ep titled "Five On Seven" on Phyte Records, and "Four Stones and a Burning God" on their own label No Heroes.
Intially being influenced by bands such as Black Flag, Bl'ast!, the Stooges, etc... Kill The Messenger followed in their footsteps by emulating their sound and taking it into new directions.
Kill The Messenger disbanded in the Spring of 2006.
