Zyon is one of the most innovative and diverse unsigned artist of this era. His stylish combination of rap and reggae is unquestionably an innovative new sound for music. Born in Kingston , Jamaica and raised in Brooklyn , New York . Zyon combines his two backgrounds to formulate his sound. He has been quoted to be 'the next Wyclef' by industry artistes such as DMX and DJ Scratch.
Zyon is currently working on his first solo album, Inspiration from with in which he will try to release next fall. This album will be solely produced by Zyon himself. Zyon is also working on a single called Kandahar Dancehall, as a tribute to him and his fellow soldiers Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF-5), in the beginning of 2006 as well.
Zyon has been a pioneer of the music industry since the age of fifteen. A former member of the reggae dancehall group Gilligunz, one of the hottest underground groups to hit Fayetteville , NC , Zyon is no stranger to performing in front of big crowds. As his knowledge grows with every year his musical performance, in and out of the studio, has become astonishing. God knows...there is no limit to what this artist can achieve.
