I grew up in Alamogordo, New Mexico. I moved to Orlando in 2001 where I ended up meeting my husband. We were married in April 2004. We've been married for 3 years and I love my husband, he makes me a better human being. We moved from Orlando in August 2006 (officially) up to the Steel City, AKA Pittsburgh. I apparently am now a Steeler's fan by default. I've never seen such crazy sports fans in my life. We really like it here and we somehow survived the winter.
We attend church regularly and are pretty darn happy. We had our first child, Zachary, on July 5 2007. Being a mom is is the toughest and coolest thing I've every experienced :)

My Interests

I enjoy scrapbooking, crafts, and jewelry making. I've been bitten by the creativity bug!!
I read when I can. I love Anne McCaffery. (my wonderful husband gave me a signed copy of one of her books for my b-day!!)
I love pictures!!! This is why scrapbooking is a good hobby...somewhere to put my pictures rather than on my computer. :)

I'd like to meet:

Old friends and new friends.

Music:

I like pretty much everything: country, rock, classical, oldies, contemporary....even some rap and heavy metal. My friend Morgan got me hooked on 'Avenue Q', I have a new obsession with Shakira's music, and I will always always love Nsync!

Movies:

I like girly movies... I'm a sap. Stuff like "2 Weeks Notice", "The Mirror Has Two Faces" and "Notting Hill". I also love Disney movies. Faves are Aladdin, Lilo & Stitch, and The Incredibles. oh! oh! and I LOVE Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. (I reak of dork..... lol)

Television:

Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, House, Bones, 7th Heaven, South Park, Related, CSI (the original....I don't care for the others)

Books:

Anne McCaffery's Pern series. Are there other books out there??? lol Again...Morgan...he got me hooked on the Harry Potter books.

Heroes:

My mom & dad... I don't know how they raised 3 kids on a military salary and we all turned out pretty okay. And they continue to amaze me with their forgiveness and generosity.My husband! He's been through so much in his life already, but he's such a trooper. I love him till death do us part.

So, it's official. We're expecting our first baby!! YAY!! It's not exactly when we would have planned to do this, but it's definately not unwanted. I went to the doctor yesterday and was given a tent...
