He goes by the name Joos AKA Words Purpose. This Hip Hop
artist/producer was born and raised in Peoria, IL. (The small city of big dreams.) Growing up his father was a DJ in New York. The industry music interest took place
when he took his first trip to the East Coast (Newark, New Jersey). In 1996 Words
purpose began to write rhymes on a daily basis. Over the years the name became
stronger. In hopes to make his mark in the game with a versatile yet
laid back style. A couple of his influences are Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Copywrite, Little Brother, Elzhi, DJ Premier and 9th Wonder. Just to name a few.Currently working on his debut album "First-Come First-Serve", he is
ready to reach some ears. He has also been doing some producing for various artist who need beats and ghostwriters. With many mix tapes and cd singles flooding the streets, He’s refusing to turn back now. He's made his appearances at Peoria's Cefcu Stage every summer. Along with performances at various night clubs around Central Illinois.Also look out for promotional parties traveling to a city near you
