About Me

Blessed. Very Blessed with beautiful wife, and two great children. I am pro-life. Abortion is murder - if the child dies during an emergency surgery, it is not the result of an abortion but because they were trying to save him or her. I am also pro-adoption. Our son is a gift from God through adoption:).Currently have stable job, home and 2 dogs to chase around:). The US Navy has been good to us.I was born in Detroit Michigan and our daughter was born in Grand Rapids Michigan. Both cities hold great memories for our family. I loved attending major sporting events. But my favorite memory was when I saw our 38th President, Gerald R. Ford, speak at his presdential library in 1994. He was a good man and may he rest in peace.I have been in the Navy for just over 20 years...and somehow I'm still plugging along! Today, I am enrolled at the US Naval Postgraduate School's MBA program and when I'm not doing my studies I enjoy taking evening walks along the Monterey CA shoreline with family to listen to the seals bark!

My Interests

JESUS: Need to spend more time with him, but he's nr.. 1. It is not because of religous duty but a relationship desire.Family stuff. Walks, bike rides, going to the park and playing street hockey with my kids...I am a Detroit Sports fan (Wings, Lions, Tigers, Pistons) and try to catch them when possible wherever I might be..I still love the game of tennis:) and love to watch the grand slams on tv!

I'd like to meet:

My Grandmother's parents in Austria. I visited the homeland and know that this area suffered greatly from WWI...suffered enough that my Grandmother fled, leaving a son (my uncle), to the USA. Why did she leave him? Also, I'd like to meet my biological grandfather to find out why he abandoned my Mom and never seen her again...I have forgave him for what transpired and I know one day I'll know the answer, but nonetheless I'm curious.

Music:

Anything Barry White, Earth Wind and Fire, Lionel Ritchie, James Taylor, Jim Croce, Mercy Me, Dayna Varga and good ole classical music! If I could, I'd rather be in Europe listening to some "homeland music" similar to the below UTUBE from the Walburgs....don't ask me though what they are singing about!!!

Movies:

Spider Man 1, 2, Just visiting, Emperor's New Groove......Disney kid stuff is really cool.Chronicles of Narnia was awesome, and when the kids are asleep I could easily watch an old John Wayne flick. John Wayne - this country needs you!

Books:

I enjoy the Bible when I'm not studying for school. On another note - Since I'm new at this myspace stuff.....I thought I'd put this video I found on Utube here. Why? It brings back memories. Nothing like pulling the chicken switches and going for a ride..if you ever served on Submarines...You'll know what I mean.
