Well I am so many things A Father, Artist, Writer, Dreamer, Designer, Photographer/Videographer, Hustler, Excellent Cook, Business Man, Visionary (yeah I like that word) I am very proud to be a Former Marine/Disabled Vet (small ankle injury) also " One shot one Kill " " Semper Fi " till I Die...( Big Up's To Our Troops in Iraq they're in a FUCKED up position but Holdin it down GOD BLESS THEM!!!!...The Music Business is something that I have been involved with for the past 10 years...I do creative artist management/artist direction, executive production, A&R, tour management, daily operations of record labels, advertising, marketing, branding, publicity, product placement CD manufacturing and packaging...basically concept to reality for any Creative talent and or Entity... I have a Couple of new Companies: The Medium Entertainment Management Group and NESCHI/ short for Next Scheme Industries (media and more) .. I am also putting the finishing touches on a couple of Film Treatments I have been working on for The past 3 years... ...hmmm...Lets see what Magic I can put together on the Film/DVD end....On The Management Tip I am working with some very talented people right now and look forward to the many coming challenges and obstacles of 2009. I am Very excited to be Creatively Reunited with One of The Most Talented and Versatile Artist that I have encountered in Since I have been in The Music Business. His Name is Toussaint The Funky, Soulful, Rough and Rugged new Rude Bwoy and formerly The Frontman for one of The Baddest Bands in the Land...SOULIVE. Be on the lookout for the his CD entitled NO PLACE LIKE SOUL on the newly Rejuvenated STAX Records a Concord Label. also Check out my ARTIST my main man Nuwamba here on myspace.. he is a very talented Singer/Songwriter/Producer/Actor etc...His album " Above the Water " is quite special...Hailed by many as One of the Top albums on the Soul Scene of 2005...also check out his new remix "Heaven" on traxsource.com remixed by Halo, Kemal and Abicah Soul...I promise you will hear a great deal from this Cat in the coming year...Speaking of years... These past years and The Creators many Blessings have only made me resilient, stronger, harder, more gentle and fearless...Watch ya back...A true Warrior has been born...I stay Bladed Up..naw mean...it is hard to sum up life and this hustle with a couple of phrases BUT lets put it this way I have paid for a very expensive education when it comes to this music game...Over the Past years I creatively managed a very talented southern soul siren by the name of N'Dambi thus Creating a spot for her as One of the Best Known Indie/Major Female Soul/R&B acts in The World and cofounded The now RELAUNCHED record label with N'Dambi by the name of Cheeky-i Productions releasing two CD's " Little Lost Girls Blues " 1999 and " Tunin Up and Cosignin " 2001/2002 with combined Global sales Among the Highest units sold by any Indie Soul/R&B/Hip-Hop Act...We had alot of success doing the INDIE SOUL thing on a Global basis...I like to say that " I was Indie when Indie wasn't COOL" feel me... N'Dambi has also been signed recently to STAX Records based on her body of Work that I had the pleasure to Create with her and Is currently in the Studio working hard to create another Masterpiece... CONGRATS Miss Thang I can not wait to hear the New Vibes in 2009...The Music Business is A Crazy exciting Game...A mere suggestion for everyone When it comes to any type of Business " GET IT IN WRITING " Contracts are the cornerstone of GOOD Business!!!! Specifically the MUSIC " Den OF Thieves " Business... Don't be fooled though any contract can be broken so prepare for the worst and the best in all of all your professional business dealings...MY Photography is a blessing and truly balances me I designed clothing full time for about 12 years and finally got fed up with it lifes adventures and my many travels led me in to the music business...photography ended up filling that creative void in my life...so I ran with it...I have a large body of work I will share in the coming future...my favorite is fine art, fashion, nudes/fetish, live music and photo journalistic travel photography...capturing people in their ital essence I am currently working on going back to Jamaica in the coming months to finish some work that I plan on publishing in the next year or two...then on to Puerto Rico one of my favorite places in the world...Cuba would be amazing I am going to make that happen very soon...the images are going to be crazy...you will feel like you were there with me on the islands...so that is just all bit about ya boy...overalll I am inspired by all things creative....I love life and the creative process of loving and fulfilling my dreams and the dreams of others... STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN...STAY DOWN FOR THOSE WHO SUPPORT YOU...Step Back From those that Do not...Talk to GOD more...he is a great listener...say something positive to someone today they probably need to hear it...Get on a Plane, Train or in an automobile and do something different...feed your soul...LIFE IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ARE LIVING...So live-ly up yourself...and dare to dream...talk to you soon...stay peaceful...humility is strength and power is self reliance...be a friend to your friends and a wall to your enemies...you can't walk up/over a wall can you? nuff said...oh yeah and get or give a lil lovin to or from someone special it won't hurt you as long as you are responsible and safe... smile...yeah i said it...balance and harmony...guidanceuncle odis
