November 2005 two lame guys from a dying heavy metal band decide they wanted to express there love for modern punk rock by forming a band apart from their other band. Some kid who checked out that metal band one time was asked to play drums, one and a half month later they hit the stage for the first time as a three piece band playing some of their favorite Blink 182 and Ramones songs and a few own songs. Five months after their start they recorded their first demo entitled; The Definition of Being Inappropriate. About a year (and some shows) later they had their first t.v. debut in a local talents show, broad casting a short video clip. Not much later a good mate and guitarist from their ex-metal band joined forces and they recorded a new demo in August 2007. In the meanwhile Damn Noisy Kids put aside their Blink 182 and Green day records to be more inspired by bands such as; Strung Out, Lag Wagon, No Use For A Name, NOFX, Thrice, Rise Against, Boysetsfire, Lostprophets. While the base remains about the same progression will be made, step by step, show after show, after every demo or EP we reach towards what is next. Also Check The Other Damn Noisy Kids Websites!

Profile Generator"When you close your eyes and try hard you could think these tunes came straight from Skatepunk Valhalla, California, and that is actually the ultimate test for these kind of bands."
(Marnix van Holland for Punx.nl)
Hey Ho, Let's Go! From the always sunny, Dutch city Nijmegen comes Damn Noisy Kids! A young band fighting hard to keep alive the spirit of the '90s Skatepunk sound that bands like: Strung Out, Lag Wagon, Ten Foot Pole and Millencolin created.
"Like a lot of good skatepunk bands had, Damn Noisy Kids too has a background in metal. I don't exactly know why, but most skatepunk bands I listen to have a Maiden touch or band members with a lot affinity for the metalscene.(...)
I'm happily surprised to hear an ode to a lot of my old Fat Wreck and Epitaph heroes resembled in the sound of DNK. A lot of bands fail at this, but I certainly cannot complain about this."

With short, bursting songs and an amazingly energetic live performance these Kids take the crowd on a ride to a punkrock-party suprème where everybody is invited and nobody stands still!
"On Friday, the energetic band Damn Noisy Kids knew to convince the audience with their youthful punkrock. They really knew how to entertain their crowd!"
(Jeroen van de Voorde for The Next Stage)
"Pretty much on time, which isn't quite rock 'n roll, these gentlemen get on stage and the feast ignites. Wat did I say? I meant the BEAST! Not that they're ugly ladies and gentlemen, but I am impressed with the way they play their mix of skatepunk, emo and just plain metal."
(Merijn Coert for 3voor12 Arnhem/Nijmegen)
So take a Ramones cake base, fill it up with Blink-182, put a nice portion of Iron Maiden cream on it, sprinkle it with pure caffeine et voila!
A nice, tasty, energising treat we call Damn Noisy Kids!
