Born in Mortsel, Belgium.
Raised on the countryside between high grass, cows and trees.
1989
Introduction to musical instruments with a snare and ride, later a small drumkit.
1996
Plays with his dad's old recording gear. Starts lessons for drums and (melodic) percussion.
Gets obsessed by big mixing desks and gear in general.
Throws very cool little parties for his friends where he 'deejays' commercial 90's hits. :)
2002
Starts playing drums in a couple of highschool coverbands. 'Deejays'/fools around some more.
2003
Gets in touch with more serious studiogear and even a little bit of basic knowledge. Starts playing drums in electro-rockband DOS.
Meets Frank and DTR. Together they form UJC, and start experimenting in playing Electronic Music live.
2005
Starts playing drums for 'WWIIIO', a rockproject by Jan Stuyven.
Becomes part of DJ Dulac's jazzy hiphop project 'Jazzalicious', as drummer/co-producer.
Makes an oldskool hiphop remix for Coldcut and takes a shared fourth place in a worldwide contest.
2006
Moves to Antwerp.
Gets an email from longtime idol Isabelle Antena and kindly gets the chance to remix Antena's 'Le Spinner'.
This results in a first official -yet still unexperienced sounding- jazzy Drum' n Bass release, next to big names like Thievery Corporation, Nicola Conte,
Buscemi, Denis Moulin and Ursula 1000.
Meets producer Peter Velleman (Vallyman, Electromen) and spends time with him in the studio making all sorts of dancemusic. Gains more knowledge.
Throws his first small party in Antwerp. :)
2007
Works together with Isabelle Antena on 'Count Me In' and tries different projects and styles. Works together with several singers like Louis Anaf and Jana De Valk.
Gets the chance to play drums for Revco Soundsystem, a project by the legendary Luc Van Acker (Arbeid Adelt, Front 242, Revolting Cocks).
Starts to deejay on a more serious level, and plays a first more proper set at Montuno Vibes in Ghent. Plays drums with UJC, for DTR Live. Throws a 2nd small party in Antwerp.
2008
Meets the colorful DJ Prinz in the beginning of the year. They team up as a dynamic studio-duo, and start producing some booming dancefloorfillers.
In september they release their first EP together with Pete Lewizz on Punk'id Records, wich receives a great deal of support. They are asked for remixes by
Nico Lombardo, Monkypussy ft Luc Tuymans & Cartel Deluxe.
Throws the first two successful parties under the moniker 'Escapades', together with co-organisor Seth.
Little by little he starts to find the way he wants to go in his musical life.
2009
Does a remix for Matsu Chita together with Prinz, as well as a modern interpretation of Stravinksy's 'Le Sacre du Printemps' for the Brussels Philharmonic Ochestra. Starts the new partyconcept 'Rock To The Beat' together with Prinz and Pirrès, as well as an own record label together with Prinz under the wings of Nikolaï's USA Import Label. Plays his first time at Cafe d'Anvers.
