About Me

I'm too city for the country and too country for the city...
I'm 28 years old, attached to a seemingly good guy that drives me absolutely insane (good or bad?) and we have an awesome dog, Jax. Some days I stick around just for Jax. :-) I'm from Pemberton, NJ, but most of the time now I can be found in Mount Laurel, NJ. Life is pretty simple at the moment, but I prefer that over any drama. I have my few close friends and those other few scattered around the world that I wish were closer (geographically). If you think I look familiar, I'm going to ask only one question, "Have you ever been in prison?".
The slideshow below are family photos through the years and friend pics. My dad passed away a few days before Christmas 2004. He was a big part of my life, so he's in a lot of pictures. However, now its just me, my mom and sisters. You could probably care less about most of them, but I like to reminisce once in a while. Sit back and enjoy the ride of my life... there's about 30 pictures.

There's a real eclectic list of songs here... christian, rock, metal, old school rap, classical, country and even some opera. Some of these should bring back memories for some of my friends!!! It's set to shuffle...

My Interests

Interests?! Who has time for interests these days!! There's only 24 hours in a day. I need about 6 more hours, but I'd settle for just 4 more!

When I do find time, I work on my website... visit www.jennzontheprowl.com . For real though - I'm up for almost anything. I like the outdoors (beach, mountains, woods, whatever as long as its outside), extreme weather, studying the paranormal, live music, movies, museums and good conversation.

I'm also finally finishing up college like I should have years ago, so I'm pretty busy these days. Next semester (Spring 2008) I'll be taking 4 classes and still working 40 hours a week! So I'll have no life! Then I'll have two to take in the summer and should be done. Keep you're fingers crossed for me!!!

I'd like to meet:

Old friends and anyone who could change my life in a positive way!

Music:

Rock, classic rock, metal, alternative, classical, opera, country, rap (especially old school stuff), hip hop, r&b... just about anything goes.
You want specifics... Shinedown, Silvertide, Godsmack, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Evanescence, Superchick, DecembeRadio, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Beethoven, Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, Billy Joel, Toby Keith, Charlie Daniels, Dixie Chicks, Nelly's early stuff, Black Eyed Peas... those are just a few examples.

Movies:

Horror, drama, mystery/suspense, comedy. Some action stuff. I really enjoy movies that reflect the triumph of the human spirit. My all time favorite movie is Forrest Gump. Others: An old Australian flick called All the Rivers Run, Boondock Saints, Full Metal Jacket, American History X (very graphic & disturbing), The Departed, Ladder 49, Walk the Line, Dazed & Confused, Old School, The Breakup, Animal House, The Devil Wears Prada, Where the Heart Is, Iron Jawed Angels, How to Make an American Quilt, Dirty Dancing, Urban Cowboy, Goonies, The Outsiders, The Dark Crystal, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, National Lampoons Christmas Movie, Elf, A Christmas Story, Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas.

Television:

Not that I EVER have time to watch tv, but if I do I'll usually stop on...
The News, The Weather Channel, Most Haunted, Ghost Hunters, Entourage, Big Love, Extreme Makover Home Edition, The Real Estate Pros (formerly Flip This House), Deadliest Catch, Ice Road Truckers and Eastenders (when they decide to show reruns in the US). I haven't watched these recently, but I also like: American Chopper, Miami Ink, LA Ink, Inked, House, CSI Vegas, Without a Trace, Cold Case, ER... and I was a HUGE Sopranos fan before it ended :-(

Books:

These days I only have the attention span to flip through the newspaper or magazines. I used to read a lot growing up, but my head made friends with the windshield of a truck while four wheeling a few years back. Since then I seem to have developed reading ADD :-)

Heroes:

My Mom! A long story short... she worked/went to school/raised 3 very needy kids and a disabled husband. She's survived breast cancer twice, had a single mastectomy & a third scare. While in rehab after a knee replacement, she became a widow (3 days before Christmas 2004). One month later she falls and breaks arm going out to the Mr. Bob that was parked in the driveway for 5 months because of sewer problems caused by the recent road improvements out front of our house. Most recently, even being the underdog, she decided to run for township council. And thats only the beginning!! She never stops moving, EVER. I can only hope to have her determination and energy someday!
