I am here for Friends

About Me

Well, here we go again, I guess it was time to update this thing, as it has been a year, and I am just too lazy or too busy to get to it, but now that I have extra time on my hands, I guess I will do it now. Another year older, another year wiser... I would hope... I've been married almost 2 years, and I fall in love with him more and more each day. He is my life, and I feel so blessed everytime I look into those beautiful green ( he says they're hazel) eyes! I am still a mommy to a pre-teen ( groan) and a teenager ( bigger groan) but as much as they test me, I am up for the challenge. I am so lucky to have them in my life, as I have learned more then I ever thought possible. But I also can't wait to have one of our own.And I am excited to be able to try with my hubby.I have the best job, and co-worker who is so wonderful and giving and helpful,it makes my days so much better. I have a great family ( even when they are grouchy) and my neices and nephews are growing up so fast,I have no idea where the time is going. But I treasure them and love them, and just wish the happiest life for them. And my FRIENDS ROCK!!!! They have been a gift from above and have helped me in so many ways, at so many different points in my life, and continually are helping me become a better person, and for them I am eternally greatful. I love you all!!!

My Interests

I guess my intrests haven't really changed all that much. I love getting out there with David and do some deep sea fishing. Nothing better then knowing you've got a prize winning fish on your line. I know I know not a very feminine thing to do , so thats why it also includes dancing. I've been doing it for such a long time, and it's just something I never wanted to give up. I love hanging out with my family, and listening to the great things that come out of my childrens mouth..lol Being a mom is a great joy, and I cherish these 2 boys, and am just waiting for the day I can actually have one of my own making! Trips to Havasu are fun too. Watching my boys reaction to the girls wearing " pasties" Thats always fun to watch them go red in the cheeks..

I'd like to meet:

We want to meet anyone worth meeting, and anyone who knows anything about Asperger Syndrome. If you know anything about it, and have any suggestions for how to raise a teen with it, please feel free to contact us. Thanks!

Music:

Most of you who know me can answer this in one word, and I am sure that word will make some of you cringe... but yes... COUNTRY is still the favorite of choice, but anything from musicals, and some great irish punk bands when I'm feeling like the angry white girl I should be, I can't think of anything better to listen to. But I can jam to just about anything. And thats what loving music is all about. I know what I like.. and I like what I know, and am open minded enough to appreciate anything.

Movies:

Movies for me is a random hit or miss kind of thing. Movies of all kinds can attract my attention and become favorites. But not everything is as fortunate to be bought in my collection. And depending on what mood my finacee is in..lol depends on what we watch! But Brittish Comedies are always welcome, along with some sci fi. ( Those are his choices) I prefer a good funny chick flick... Hey... it comes with age..lol

Television:

Ok... reality TV is about to my limit. I mean I like nothing more then watching complete idiots make bigger idiots out of themselves!! The shows on TV which actually make people DO things... ie survivor, amazing race, those are ok. And the ones on MTV.. nothing better then to watch young 20somethings try and make a love connection and then get PISSED that they were just not the " it" person lmao.. Other then that TV. Wedding shows always make me laugh.. and a bit nervous, being that I am TRYING to plan one. Thats about it for my take on television. But I will say this.. watching it on a 60 inch makes anything tolerable!:D

Books:

I love reading things that INTREST me. Sylvia Brown, her stuff makes me feel better about the world we live in. And for a lighter side, I love reading the Harry Potter series. It's a great way to loose myself. And of course, I HAVE to keep up with my gossip, so People magazine is my drug of choice!

Heroes:

My grandmother, and my mom. They are both survivors! My grandmother having had one breast removed due to breast cancer, and almost a year and half ago, my mom being diagnosed and having to loose them both. It showed me just how strong they were. I know if they can go through it, and I should inherit the same thing, I know I will survive as well.Another person I admire, is my finacee. He has truly had a life with challenges, challenges with family, challenges with women, and challenges with his sons, and through it all, he has kept a positive outlook, and I can testify, that if it wasn't for him, and his love, I would not be the person I am today, and I definately would not be as blessed as I am, and have the family I cherish. So to you my mom, my beloved grandmother , and to my finacee, I love you and thank you for being part of my life.
