I would also say recently some newer heroes to me have been Hank (or Henk) and Judy Oudeboon...I don't know where I would be today without them...and Hank especially for his thoughts, his wisdom, and just how amazingly caring and knowledgable he is!! One of the first men EVER I have REALLY looked up to and REALLY appreciated!
