Does anyone want to read our biography? Come on, who cares?
Let’s just say we started in late 1994 in a small town of Dukla in Beskid Niski mountains, SE Poland. Use your imagination and think of Polish Twin Peaks… Sounds like fun, huh?
Our first recording was Lux Occulta only demo tape “The Forgotten Artsâ€, which gained us a deal with Pagan Records (released on a tape by them in late 1995).
Other recordings:
Forever Alone. Immortal. CD 1996 (Pagan Records)
Lots of emotions - despair, darkness, misanthropy. And poor musicianship.
Dionysos CD 1997 (Pagan Records)
New drummer, Kriss, helped to make this album pretty fast and vicious piece of symphonic black metal. Influenced by Emperor, early COF and stuff like that.
Maior Arcana (The Words That Turn Flesh Into Light) MCD 1998 (Pagan Records)
â€The Forgotten Arts†demo on silver disc plus some other stuff, like covers of Sisters of Mercy and Danzig.
My Guardian Anger CD 1999 (Pagan Records)
Vogg and Martin of Decapitated joined and that helped to develop our own sound, pretty unique and maybe a bit hermetic at first listening. Anyway, everybody seemed to like the album. Us included.
The Mother And The Enemy CD 2001 (Maquiavel Music Entertainment)
The crazy one. Half of the album is sick and technical extreme metal and the other half is trip-hop and some contemporary avant-garde stuff. People either love it or hate it. Us included. Probably that is why our drummer left us in the middle of the recording session… But it’s damn good and original album. Too bad that so-called label didn’t do shit to promote and sell it.
2002 until now - the band is on hiatus for various reasons. But U. is always working on some new music and JS is writing pieces of lyrics and thinking of good title for a come back album. At the time being the working title is “Carnival Is Foreverâ€.
We’ll keep you updated.
