About Me

InnerPrison: a hard hitting four piece from Northeast Philadelphia. Their music is an eclectic mix of Rock, Punk, Metal, and Pop. These seemingly different genres blended into a cauldron of sonic mayhem and bliss.Within there first year of playing out, the guys have managed to play the historic Trocadero theater in center city Philadelphia twice- once as the headliner playing to more then 800 plus people. Other shows included The Crocodile Roc in Allentown, as they were met with a huge following of loyal fans.In the summer of 2007, however, a series of unfortunate incidents forced the band into hibernation. Some members of IP can be found in new projects- jamming out on the stage and in the studio. The founding musicians of Inner Prison have hopes of once again returning to the stage as a group and performing the music that they love. Many thanks to the friends, family, and fans that have supported us over the years! Jim Thorpe, who gave us our first break at The Chestnut Room. Sharon and Spitshine, who treated us like family at The Street Road Bar & Grill. Tommy Conwell, who put our music over the airwaves of WYSP to the masses. Mark from the Nebula Zone, a true brother who was there for every cracked snare head and jammed up lugnut. Stygian, an awesome band whose biggest moments are still to come, for giving us our opening slot at The Trocadero....which we are eternally grateful to Steve and The Preying Mantis team for putting us up on the big stage as headliners and treating us like rockstars :)Hope to see you soon; until then, look out for the Inner Prison catalog which will be out in the Spring of 2008.
