Lost Relics

About Me

Welcome to the world of Blackout! Three young men came together with a love of real music, in an age where image and money are more important than music, in an attempt to provide the type of music that nowadays seems almost extinct. Fusing elements of Classic/Hard Rock, Funk, Grunge and Blues music written in a Progressive style, Blackout aims to pick up where are heroes let go many years ago. Looking to conquer Hull in the coming months, Blackout is recording it's first EP since the first, self-titled 'Blackout' almost a year ago, alongside new additions, Eddy P and Chris Mac. We're sure there is nobody else like us in the area now that our music has progressed from substandard Hard Rock music.
The new E.P will be called Lost Relics and is looking increasingly likely to include four songs, including 'Power Of The Mind', 'Freedom' and 'Alive'. The final track is yet to be named but is the best of the four! Feel free to listen to the old tracks that are on our myspace, they do not represent the capabilities of the current line-up of Blackout and they are very old, but they are something to listen to! Feel free to comment us, either with praise or (constructive) criticism at any time!
Any venues that are interested in booking us, can contact us at [email protected], or comment us on myspace! Any bands that need a support act, we should be able to do it, will really appreciate any offers and will try to return the favour if we can!

Sounds Like: We don't like to be typecast as a generic Classic or Hard Rock band. We try to fuse these styles with Grunge, Funk and Blues music, with elements of Prog too. At the end of the day, we sound rock 'n' roll I guess! Come and check us out for yourselves!
