Changing the world, volunteering, backpacking, politics, cooking (yes, cooking. deal with it!!), basketball, poker, thoughtful discussion about anything in particular, beautiful views, San Francisco . . .
I've also become quite an addict of going to the gym . . .
Your Power Element is Water
Your power colors: blue and aqua
Your energy: deep
Your season: winter
Like the ocean, you evoke deep feelings and passion.
You have an emotional, sensitive, and spiritual soul.
A bit mysterious, you tend to be quiet when you are working out a problem.
You need your alone time, so that you can think and dream.
What's Your Power Element?
MORE About Me
I'm the Communications Director for IndependentVoice.Org ( www.independentvoice.org ) where we're organizing the 42% of Americans who are independents to change politics in America. So with that said, here's a little bit about me, in the most politically incorrect way I could think of:
1. I'm really damn cute.
2. I'm really damn funny.
3. I'm a really damn nice guy - I'm the one who helps the old woman up the steps with her huge luggage even though I'm going the other way. Yeah, I know, what a sucker. But it works for me.
4. I'm smarter than I appear (thank god)
5. I'm working to change the world (yes, I know you think that's sappy, but it seems to be working so far).
6. Did I mention I'm damn cute?
Oh yeah, and I like things in list format.
Who I'd Like to Meet
I'd like to meet all kinds of people. Particularly those with the winning lottery ticket who have decided they just don't deserve the money and want to give it to me . . . . dang, where did that guy go anyway?
I’d like to meet people who are into making the world a better place.
In the meantime, check out my introduction from the Jan 2007 National Conference of Independents (below).
Ok, get ready to label me a hypocrite. I like just about everything.
Lord of the Rings Series (yes, I'm a geek), Conact (got a thing for Jodie Foster), anything with Denzel Washington, anything with Vince Vaughn, Chronicles of Narnia (forgive me this one, ok . . .), Harry Potter 1-4 (and these too), Zathura (and this one), American Psycho, any 70s-90s B-horror/scifi movie
Try not to watch it. But of course I'm a hypocrite and do it anyway.
I really wish I read more . . . somehow the time has evaporated over the last couple of years. Let's try this, go out and find a copy of "An Underachiever's Diary" by Benjamin Anastas. You'll like it or I'll stand on my head. Or sell you a car or something like that.
Ok, seriously: The guy who stood in front of the tanks in Tianamen square the day after the massacre in 89
..
My grandfather, my grandmother, anyone who stands up for what they believe in when it's difficult to do so.
