RSU Radio

Your ONLY choice... for TRUE Alternative Music

About Me

RSU Radio is KRSC-FM, a 3000-watt station owned by Rogers State University in Claremore. We play a mix of alt-rock, hard rock, punk and powerpop, indie, blues, americana, alt-country and world music. Yeah, we know, sounds good to us too... that’s why we do it.
Since we’re owned by a public university, we are what the FCC calls "non-commercial." That means you will never, ever, EVER hear a single commercial on RSU Radio. We do have bills to pay, so once in a while you’ll hear what we call underwriting. The difference? Underwriting is much less in-your-face and annoying.
Plus, we are 100%, totally and completely independent. Sure, everybody has their bosses who can tell them what to do, but our suits let us run the show. RSU students and community volunteers make up 95% of our staff... we pick the music based on what sounds good, we play what we like, we decide who goes on the air and when.
The request line is always open... call and talk to us. 343-7913. Or, if you need to know a song we’ve played in the last 24 hours, you can try this . It’s not perfect but it’s damn good.
Here us LIVE. Click on the picture below.
