Influences: The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, The Doors, 1970's pop music (all of it...but mostly The Carpenters), Suzanne Vega, Aimee Mann, Annie Lennox, Deep Purple.. believe it! I listened to the Deep Purple Live Made in Japan album over and over at the same time that I couldn't stop listening to Carol Kings Tapestry album, and all the jazz and classical recordings that my mom played on the stereo while growing up...etc
Sounds Like: I folk like Joni Mitchell, I'm 1970's top 40 like Karen Carpenter..... Annie Lennox inspires me with her craftiness and level of emotion.... but I like to ROCK like Jim Morrison!
