When Middle linebacker Glenn Stanton & Fullback Tarry Summers collided off the football field, they realized their potential as a band. After bringing 2 friends from Ohio Northern University in on the deal, Korephase was born. After former lead guitarist Ben Michaels transferred, Korephase brought Stantonâ€™s life-long friend, Nathanael Richardson, on board. Soon they began to pack in shows of more than 800+. They have shared the stage with Bobaflex, Madina Lake, and Fermata to name a few. As of recent they have been played on X107.5 Lima, 99.7 the Blitz Columbus, 103.9 the X Dayton, and 94.3 Celina. They have a sound that is distinctly catchy with songs that are driving, melodic, powerful, but yet very beautiful. Some comparisons in the original music can range anywhere from Audioslave to Three Days Grace to Godsmack. Even with these comparisons no one can deny that Korephase has their very own marketbale sound. They are no imitation; just a new, high energy, in your face band ready to turn out a stage near you.
