Kathleen Yearwood ORDEAL

About Me

Born in the salvation army hospital for unwanted children, rose thru the canadian underclass to something like 50 fathoms under, squatted for 11 years in cold rural shelters, hard graft, starvation, backbreaking labour. Forwent social life to learn my craft, learned some, in spare time revolutionized and reinvented North American folk music, lives in obscurity happy as a lab rat set free. Thank you." - David Thomas, Pere Ubu, ENGLAND/USA"...but the disillusion came in the person of Kathleen Yearwood. Canadian singer, who declares she's able to make people cry, would by her clumsy use of guitar have made cry only some old-fashioned guitar lovers. Four hysterics, two variety dancers, singing mother or singing nun? Anyhow, better than Kazachock in Franci na Balanci ( another disreputable bar … translator's note)." LJUBLJANA, SLOVENIA"The "Kathleen Yearwood ", the sight of the artist who recently knows. It is easy to the singing of this person, you feel " death ". In case of me, the lever which cries in tune itself As for the voice which echos in heart, when it is something which cannot measure with ability under any condition, again you knew.
