These Walls Are Oceans is a music group on the rise out of Austin, Texas, the once music capitol of the world. The members of TWAO have collectively played hundreds of shows nationwide in previous acts under names such as True Til' Death, The Scarlet Letter, RockIsland Blvd, and Anguish For Augustine.
These Walls Are Oceans is looking to leave their mark on the music scene with their latest effort "Perspective". The five track debut album is packed with soaring vocals and melodic hooks accompanied by catchy guitar riffs, and driving bass and drums. The goal of the album was to write memorable and melodic pop structured songs without compromising the energy of heavier instrumentals that had greatly influenced the members earlier in their lives. This album truly blurs the line between pop and hardcore while still preserving the integrity of the sound, something many bands on the scene today seem to have lost sight of.
